Editing Corporate Periodicals

Do you need accurate proofreading for your in-house literature?

"If language is not correct, then what is said is not what is meant; if what is said is not what is meant, then what ought to be done remains undone." Confucius

We used to have a lot of rules about words which could not be used at the beginning of paragraphs. It is still considered rather infra dig to use the word ' I ' as the very first word of a letter, but it is now considered suitable as a word to begin the second and following paragraphs. Conjunctions such as 'but', 'and' and 'so' were once frowned upon as words with which to open a sentence, but we are now told that this is acceptable.
