PR for organizations & non-profits

Do you need a functional public relations campaign to promote an organization?

Public Relations is a management tool designed to favorably influence attitudes toward an organization, its products and its policies; it is also aimed at building or maintaining a favorable image for an organization with its various publics - customers, prospects, stockholders, employees, labor unions, the local community, and the government. Good PR can be achieved in many ways.

Some examples are

  • Supporting charitable projects by supplying volunteer labour or other resources
  • Participating in community service
  • Events sponsoring nonprofessional athletic teams
  • Funding the arts
  • Producing an employee or customer newsletter
  • Disseminating information through exhibits, displays, and tours
