Writing work charged at individual rates:

• Writing of Press Releases (1-page press release at R750. Research charged at R200/hour; 2-page press release at R1,200. Research charged at R240/hour.
• Writing of Speeches: R1.20 per word. Generally, people speak at a rate of 180-200 words per minute. Time to pause is factored in and to allow the audience to take in visuals if applicable. With these adjustments, an average 20-minute speech will run 3,400 to 3,800 words in length.
