Lifting of the Veil (work in progress)

This book is about changing and searching for a better, worthier way to fulfil one’s destiny - not merely to endure life only to conclude it in death - but to search for spiritual enlightenment, a new awareness, and a change of consciousness. Not that a cure for Cancer or Aids would not have a major impact on our lives - but such mega changes belong to other books by other people.

People need to re-think every aspect of their lives as humanity moves toward the rebirth of a better path that potentially can unite all people in a common pool of Spiritual awareness: a unified solo race with a combined understanding and deep respect for all Creation.

Society is becoming more and more diverse in cultural, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. As a society, we live in a world that is generating enormous waves of negative energy on a daily basis, with which we contaminate each other at an alarming rate. Prejudice, anger, deceit, guilt, abuse, violence, emotional blackmail, manipulation, jealousy, envy and greed, are all direct causes of negative energies we are capable of inflicting or projecting onto others. Also, we live in fear of violence, assault and robbery, and constantly watchful of security.

Surprising as it may be, ominous views about the future do not come from wild eyed, gun toting reactionaries alone. Dire warnings also emanate from acclaimed journalists, respected scholars, social scientists, high ranking government officials and a host of international observers. Yet, many people are paralyzed by the immense social problems they see as their inheritance: racial strife, homelessness, Aids, fractured families, poverty, slavery, high unemployment, escalating crime and mounting socio-economic problems.

The pace of our capitalistic lifestyle has become almost unbearable. Many people become hopelessly entangled in a continuous cycle of debt, living beyond their true means, often never able to repay their borrowings through a continuing line of credit. As a result, stress has become a recognized and socially destructive illness. But, instead of seeking ways to change, they prefer to hide from the reality of the world around them and deny the truth when spoken. It upsets them. It hurts their ego. We should not allow such forces to overpower our natural abilities of a creative nature. In all things there must be balance.
